Pineapple lemonade

Ingredients :

– 1 medium pineapple, peeled, cored, and cut into chunks
– 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
– 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
– 4 cups cold water
– Ice cubes
– Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Préparations :

1. Blend the Pineapple: Place the pineapple chunks in a blender and blend until smooth. You may need to do this in batches if your blender is not large enough to accommodate all the pineapple at once.

2. Strain the Pineapple Juice: Pour the blended pineapple through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a large pitcher to remove the pulp. Press down with a spoon to extract as much juice as possible.

3. Add Lemon Juice and Sugar: Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar to the pitcher. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.

4. Add Water: Pour in the cold water and stir to combine. Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if necessary.

5. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the pineapple lemonade for at least 1 hour to chill. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves if desired.
