- 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices or any preferred toppings
- Optional: fresh basil leaves for garnish

Step 1: Prepare the Garlic Bread
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Bread: Cut the baguette or Italian bread in half lengthwise.
- Make the Garlic Butter:
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Spread the Butter: Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
- Bake the Garlic Bread: Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, buttered side up. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is lightly golden and the butter has melted into the bread.
Step 2: Add the Pizza Toppings
- Prepare the Toppings:
- Remove the garlic bread from the oven.
- Spread a generous layer of marinara or pizza sauce over the garlic bread halves.
- Add the Cheese and Toppings:
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Arrange the pepperoni slices or any other desired toppings over the cheese.
Step 3: Bake the Pizza
- Bake the Pizza: Return the topped garlic bread to the oven. Bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden brown.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- If desired, garnish with fresh basil leaves.
- Cut into slices and serve hot.
