Kids with particular wants are particularly vulnerable to exclusion from main faculty after which failing in secondary faculty, new analysis exhibits.
The research discovered that greater than 90 per cent of kids excluded in main faculty don’t go on to move their GCSEs in English and maths.

Charity Likelihood UK compiled the figures. Its report, Too Younger to Go away Behind, says rising numbers of kids are struggling after the pandemic.
It says suspension charges for main faculty kids are actually at their highest since 2006.
Main faculties exclude as much as 22,000 kids
The charity discovered that main faculties in England excluded or suspended as much as 22,000 kids aged six and underneath in 2022.
It maintains that main faculty exclusions begin “a devastating unending cycle of difficulties for the kid”. In consequence, achievement and attendance endure at secondary faculty.
