Slow Cooker Lasagna Soup

Ingredients :

  • 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
  • 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken into small pieces
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley, chopped, for garnish

Préparations :

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef or Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Add the diced onion and minced garlic and cook until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant.

Transfer the cooked meat mixture to a slow cooker. Add the crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, beef broth, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
