INGREDIENTS:
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger (organic preferred)
- 2 tablespoons virgin coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon raw honey
- 1 tablespoon pure aloe vera gel (fresh or store-bought)
- 5 drops vitamin E oil (or contents of 1 capsule)
- Optional: 2 drops lavender or frankincense essential oil (for added skin-calming benefits)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: Prepare the Ginger Base
- Peel and finely grate fresh ginger until you have 1 tablespoon.
- Place the grated ginger in a clean muslin cloth or cheesecloth and squeeze to extract the juice. You should get about 1 teaspoon of potent ginger juice.
- Discard the pulp and set the juice aside.
Step 2: Blend the Cream
- In a small glass bowl, combine coconut oil and aloe vera gel. Stir until smooth.
- Add raw honey and mix thoroughly.
- Stir in the ginger juice and vitamin E oil.
- If using essential oils, add them now and blend gently.
- Mix until the texture is creamy and uniform. You can use a small whisk or spoon.
Step 3: Store
- Transfer the cream into a sterilized glass jar with a lid.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 7 days (due to the fresh ginger content).
- For longer shelf life, freeze in small portions and thaw as needed.
APPLICATION:
- Cleanse your face thoroughly before application.
- Take a pea-sized amount of the cream and apply to areas with fine lines or wrinkles—forehead, under eyes, smile lines, neck.
- Gently massage in upward circular motions for 2–3 minutes.
- Leave on for 30 minutes or overnight for deeper absorption.
- Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.
- Use 3–5 times per week for best results.
