Arabic Cake Recipe

Ingredients :

2 cups wheat flour

1 cup sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 cup milk

1/2 cup melted butter

1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, or pistachios)

1/2 cup chopped date bites

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

Syrup:

1 cup sugar

1 cup water

Préparations :

  1. sugar is completely dissolved. Simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened, then remove from heat.
  2. Drizzle Syrup: As soon as the cake is out of the oven, while it’s still hot, pierce it with a fork or skewer in several places. Pour the prepared sugar syrup evenly over the hot cake, allowing it to soak in.
  3. Serve: Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy your delicious Arabic Cake with family and friends!
