- 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
- 1–2 onions, sliced
- 2–3 cloves garlic (optional)
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4–6 cups vegetable or chicken broth

Instructions
- Prepare the vegetables: Wash and chop the cabbage and onions. Mince the garlic if using.
- Sauté aromatics: In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic until fragrant and soft.
