Ingredients
12 oz (340 g) linguine
1 lb (450 g) steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
1Β½ cups cherry tomatoes, halved
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
ΒΎ cup milk
1Β½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Β½ cup grated parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Optional: fresh basil, red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta
Boil linguine in salted water until al dente.
Reserve Β½ cup pasta water.
Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Steak
Season steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook steak bites for about 3β5 minutes until browned.
Remove and set aside.
- Cook Tomatoes and Garlic
In the same skillet, melt butter.
Add cherry tomatoes and cook for 4β5 minutes until softened.
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Make the Cream Sauce
Add heavy cream and milk.
Simmer for 3β4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add Cheese
Stir in mozzarella and parmesan.
Mix until melted and smooth.
Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Combine Everything
Return steak to the skillet.
Add cooked linguine and toss gently.
Add reserved pasta water if needed for a smoother sauce.
- Serve
Garnish with basil or red pepper flakes if desired.
Serve hot.
