Mini Cheesy Bacon English Muffin Sandwiches

🧾 Ingredients

  • 6 English muffins (halved)
  • 6–8 slices of bacon (or turkey bacon)
  • 6–8 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or mix)
  • 2–3 tbsp butter (for brushing)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or mixed herbs
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon until crispy, then set aside on paper towels.
  2. Slice the English muffins in half if not already split.
  3. Lightly butter the top of each muffin half.
  4. Add a layer of bacon + cheese on the bottom half.
  5. Cover with the top half of the muffin.
  6. Sprinkle the tops with garlic powder, herbs, and black pepper.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 8–12 minutes, until cheese is melted and muffins are golden.
    • Alternatively: air fryer at 170°C for ~6–8 minutes.
  8. Serve hot.

🍽️ Serving

Best eaten warm when the cheese is still melted and the muffins are crisp outside but soft inside. Great for brunch, snacks, or party trays.
